Alie[N]ation is a multimedia performance and installation that considers hyperbolized alien tropes, xenophobic language, and the archetype of the scapegoat in contemporary discourse. The work is informed by the leading research question: who is deemed an alien and who is seen as fully human in the United States?

Alie[N]ation was developed with support from: Robert W. Deutsch Foundation Ruby’s Project Grant, Halcyon Arts Lab Fellowship, Tulsa Artist Fellowship, Transformer DC, and Merriweather District Artist in Residence.
